The Montessori curriculum incorporates art and music among its everyday choices for students. Heartland Montessori also offers regular Spanish language activities.
Our staff and parents are also writers, artists, and musicians. They share their interests and talents freely with the students, guiding them in their own discoveries.
Heartland's Visiting Artist Program operates with funds donated in honor of artist and parent alumnus, Rich Wilson. Rich gave Heartland students the tools to bring their fantastical ideas to form, always with respect for one another's differences and abilities.
At Heartland, we do not consider the arts something relegated to once-a-week practice; we consider artistic exploration an everyday necessity.
