The Patty Borchardt Scholarship Fund

In 2010, Heartland created the Patty Borchardt Scholarship Fund to celebrate the life of long-time school coordinator, Patty Borchardt. Patty was a loving, joyful, and giving member of the Heartland staff for many years before the community lost her in 2011.

The Patty Borchardt Scholarship Fund helps Heartland honor Patty's legacy while fulfilling its commitment to making an authentic Montessori experience financially accessible to the greatest number of families. The more children we can reach in the community, the more we're able to lay the foundation for the independent thinkers, problem solvers, and peacemakers our community will rely upon in the future.

Over the years,  many area businesses and individuals have contributed to our spring auction to show their support for our school. This year, we ask you to join us in sowing the seeds of lifelong learning by making a gift to the Patty Borchardt Scholarship Fund.
