Admissions Process

Heartland Montessori School offers a Toddler Community for children ages around 14 to 33 months and a Children’s House program for children ages 2 years 5 months through age 6 (preschool and kindergarten). We also offer Discover Montessori which is a Parent/Infant class for younger children between the ages of 8 weeks - crawling, and their parents.
Request a Tour

If you feel that your family would benefit from the Montessori experience and you think your child meets our Enrollment Criteria:

  1. Contact us to schedule a time to visit the school and observe in the classroom. Seeing the classroom in action is one of the best ways to determine the benefits to your child.

  2. Once you have visited the school, complete an Application Form and return it to Heartland with the application fee.

  3. Schedule a time for the Guide to meet with both you and your child during non-teaching hours.

  4. Upon acceptance of your child into the program, you will complete an Enrollment Contract. A signed contract and a non-refundable tuition deposit are required in order to reserve a space. We will confirm your child’s enrollment by phone or email.

Our programs are popular and can have waiting lists. If there is no opening for your child in the program, you will be notified at once and your child will be placed on a waiting list. We will contact you once a space becomes available.

"I'm glad that traditional schools are now incorporating some Montessori aspects in their classrooms, but Heartland and its AMI standards remain unique among schools."
